The 2025 MADALAH Ball was truly a night to remember. Held on Saturday, 30 August in the Crown Grand Ballroom, it was an evening filled with celebration, support, and entertainment. This unforgettable night would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our valued sponsors, community members, partner schools, and dedicated staff.
Our evening was beautifully hosted by Jasmine and Kaymus, who guided the night with grace, humour, and warmth, keeping our audience engaged and entertained. We were also honoured to receive a heartfelt Welcome to Country from Nana Roma Winmar.
Throughout the evening, our talented students showcased their exceptional skills in a series of captivating performances. They were joined by Jayden Boundry and Dylan Shillito from Mirliny Aboriginal Cultural Education, as well as Phil Bartlett. The Grand Ballroom foyer came alive with music from Ben, Tryse and Oliver, setting the perfect tone for the night ahead. Later, the dance floor was kept pumping by Broken Tides, who played us into the night with energy and rhythm.
Students from our partner schools; Mazenod College, Christ Church Grammar School, Hale School, St Brigid’s College, Wesley College, IONA Presentation College, St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls, Methodist Ladies’ College, Scotch College, and Guildford Grammar School, were a highlight of the night, seen both performing and dancing with joy throughout the evening.
Adding a unique and powerful touch to the night, artist Kevin Bynder created a live painting on a surfboard, capturing the spirit and essence of the evening in real time.
Our supportive Board Members played an important role on the night, with Chairperson Jeanice Krakeour delivering an inspiring speech alongside our General Manager, Casey Jo Drummond. The keynote address was delivered by the incredible Charles Mallard, who never fails to command the room with his presence, passion, and powerful message.
The success of this year’s Ball is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire MADALAH team. From our Student and Scholarships teams to Events and Operations – every detail reflected your commitment and care. We thank you.
