Jordee is a Yued woman who in 2020 graduated from Iona Presentation College. Jordee has always been an engaged student and a great role model for her peers.
Completing year 12 amidst Covid had its challenges but Jordee worked tirelessly to complete her ATAR units and receive her WACE. Jordee completed her final ATAR art task; a beautifully intricate portrait of her grandmother created by ‘Stippling’. Jordee’s artwork has been recognised and will be showcased at the prestigious Pulse Perspectives exhibition!
Jordee has always had a passion to work on the mines and applied for many positions after graduation, successfully securing a position on an Aboriginal Training and Support (ATAS) traineeship program at RIO TINTO site MESA A in the Pilbara.
We are so very proud of Jordee and can’t wait to follow her journey and see what she achieves next!
