The Board of MADALAH is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Laura Taylor as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Co-Chairs Jeanice Krakouer and Dr Kim Hames jointly stated:
“Laura has been with MADALAH for four years; her most recent role being that of General Manager which she has held for the last two years. Laura originally joined the organisation at a time when we were going through some significant changes; she continued to persevere and dedicated a lot of time to create the solid, robust and dependable scholarship program that we are proud of today. Laura’s strong ethics and passion are unwavering and this is why we feel it is a natural step for her to lead the organisation and continue to drive MADALAH onwards and upwards.”
Laura shared, “I’m honoured to be given the opportunity to continue supporting MADALAH on its upward trajectory and hope to be able to support over 400 students in 2022. Slowly but surely we are helping to close the gap by ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students have equal opportunity to a high quality education. Without a doubt, we are making a difference in the lives of our participants, their families and communities”.
Laura is supported by her excellent team and they too are excited about making a difference.
