2022 WA Mental Health Conference

2022 WA Mental Health Conference

8 November 2022

Some of the MADALAH student team were lucky enough to attend the 2022 WA Mental Health Conference last month. The theme for this year was “a shared purpose” which fits amazingly into the MADALAH mission statement “Empowering Indigenous people to transform their lives through education and training” which can only be done with the help of wider services.

We learned and were inspired by other organisations and spokespeople in the community both WA and nationwide.

This allowed us to network and broaden our toolset to support and accommodate our 400+ scholars.

Thank you WAAMH and partners for putting on such an amazing event!

Acknowledgement of Country

MADALAH acknowledges and pays tribute to the Whadjuk Noongar, the Traditional Custodians of the Lands on which we work, and we pay our respects to their Elders – past, present and emerging. This acknowledgement extends to the First Peoples’ land across the state of Western Australia which is home to the many students that we support.

MADALAH recognises and values the continuity of cultural, educational and spiritual practices of First Peoples.

We wish to advise our First Peoples that this site may contain the names, images or audio-visual recordings of people who have passed.
