Our students had a great opportunity with some talented individuals from learning circus tricks to musical arts to financial literacy. Focusing on how students can budget their own money in order to save up and prioritise.
The students were set up with a “ball” scenario and how they could achieve their “ideal” outcome with a set budget. Many of our students excelled in the exercise and learnt the importance of handling their own finances.
In honour of being on Whadjuk country, a valuable lesson in Noongar with Ngalak Nidji allowed space for our students to learn in a comfortable environment. A workshop which ensured students from both Whadjuk country and other regions felt in touch with the land surrounding them.Â
Health, an incredibly important aspect to our Education days. Spartan First, Earbus and Strong Spirit, Strong Mind attended which was an important element to our day. Ensuring that our students are in the right place in regards to their physical and mental health is a priority.Â
Education Days allows our students to interact with one another, learn new things and above all to enjoy their day as MADALAH scholars. A big thank you to Mitsubishi for sponsoring all of our Education and Well-being days this year!
